History

The first, temporary church was erected in 1924. Its replacement, the present church, was begun in 1939 but construction was held up by the War and, in fact, not completed until 1951.

History

History

The original church of 1896 (architects Brodrick and Lowther) was destroyed by bombing on 31st March 1941. A temporary church lasted from 1947 until 1956 when the present church was built (architect George I Williams).

History

The church was built for the Spring Bank West area of the city in 1932 (architect F. Spink of Bridlington).
